About the Role

In this highly autonomous and customer-facing role, you will:

• Lead new business development across the North Island, with a strong focus on generating new customer accounts and expanding our market presence.
• Take a lead role out in the field, meeting with customers, visiting dealerships, and actively expanding our network.
• Build exceptional partnerships across the automotive ecosystem, including dealers, fleet managers, finance companies, and wholesalers.
• Source and purchase quality vehicles for auction across public and corporate channels, leveraging dealer relationships, fleet disposals, and auction platforms.
• Develop tailored solutions that position our auctions as the preferred sales channel for our clients.
• Support auction day operations and, if you’re keen, develop auctioneering skills - interest in becoming an auctioneer is highly regarded.

About You

You’ll succeed in this role if you:

• Are a natural hunter who loves identifying leads, pitching solutions, and closing deals
• Have experience in the automotive industry - dealerships, fleet, wholesale, vehicle remarketing, auctions, or similar
• Bring strong communication and relationship building skills
• Are energised by being out in the market, visiting customers, and representing our brand
• Thrive in a fast paced, high activity environment where initiative is rewarded
• Have a genuine passion for vehicles or the automotive sector
